Zegapain Altair

Did this a long time ago (1 month ago), this is another great anime that i strongly recommended to those that havent watch it.

The design is kind of like the Matrix type, the story is also something like it. Sometimes i wonder what is the thing that separate the AI and a human being, is it the soul or just the ability of feeling, lol talking of so reminds me a lot on Ghost In The Shell.

I paint the frame of this mecha using the Gaia Metalic color and Silver color, wanted to test out the LED in the chest but cant find any batteries for it.

The trasparrent green parts are nicely done, wonder why Bandai didnt milk us with the other color variation of the Altair. Is it because of poor sales?

I find it hard to pose, the weapon of this mecha is too heavy and it joint cant hold it up for long. Anyway the articulation of this kit is quite poor, and overall it is really clumsy. A lot of the parts could be done better and reduced the amount of seam lines.

Megahouse Lelouch

Guess by reading the tittle you already know what this is about, yeah that right I got myself a PVC Lelouch and this is one hell of an expensive figure out there.... I think it surpass my Shuraki Girl already.

Got it 2 weeks plus ago, never got the chance to open the box. Wonder this figure was popular or not? Male figure usually arent as popular as female one right?

It comes with 2 pairs of hand, 1 Sword, 1 cape, 1 neck, and 2 heads (one with geass on). Oh and it has a base along that has the word Zero on it.

It is really detail and i can see the geass in Lelouch eyes, but i find the way his hand pose quite weird...

Especially this pose above, it feels like he is a gay or some sissy... guess it was meant to pose with his cape on.

You can choose to put his helmet on or hold it.

The normal version of his face expression.

Lelouch's sword too bad you cant drag out the sword because the whole thing is make that way.

This is the coolest pose among all.

Zero sama is back...

Lelouch and gals that like him till they can die for him...

Oh Shirley is holding Lelouch head... This is what happen when love turn into hate... this do remind me of one anime...

Yuck...

Since i have go most of the Code Geass stuff i want, is time i start to build my Garage Kit Gawein.

Kallen's Guren completed

Just check back my post and i notice my Guren was finish last year July and i only manage to fully paint it this year..... really long delay.

So the main reason i finish it.... is because of the Kallen figure i got last month that re-ignite the flame of code geass withing my heart... lol

You know what are the stuff that is most difficult about painting this whole model kit? It is that mini Kallen standing below and the one in the cockpit... It took me more time than painting the whole kit.

Same as the Lancelot i did last year, i use Gaia acrylic paint for its mechanic stretchable right arm.... as usual i am very satisfy with the fine finishing it gave compare to the Mr. Hobby Silver (p.s. Gaia Silver is even bigger in bottle size and the price is cheaper too)

This time i go for a different approach in painting this Code Geass kit, I use a more solid color compare to the original glossy color, then i finish the kit off with Gloss Top Coat.

I am very glad with the finishing of this mecha and only if the finger of its right arm could be more flexible, it could be way more better.

Now i have got Lancelot and Guren done..... got Roro's mecha on next then it is time for Gawain.

ok until next time.....

1/35 Lancelot completed

Been so so so so long since i bought this kit, and been so so so so long that i have never did anything on it! So comes today i finish it and snap some pic to share with you guys.

I remember i did show some of my snap fit Lancelot 2-3 months ago, and man this kit is really poor in design compare to all those HG Gundams or even other model that Bandai make. I really dunno why they didnt even put in much afford to make this wonderful mecha a masterpiece like what they did to VF25.

Their laziness in separating the parts make us have a really hard time in painting them, although they gave us a lot of sticker but which modeller like to used those crappy stickers? Especially on the weapon that came with it.

This time is also my fist time to use the Gaia's paints instead of Mr. Hobby's paint, i am surprise that Gaia paint which is cheaper and larger can deliver such nice Gold color, it is not only nice gold color it is also very smooth and fine (the finishing).

It is also the first time for me to paint mini man from figure..... most of the time i just ignore them.... wonder is it because in the late episode of Code Geass R2, Suzaku manage to change my feelings towards him! Him pairing up with Lelouch is really godlike!

The sword holder for the Air Calvary backpack is definetely the most lousy design...... a gentle touch could cost it to fall off..... eh damn you Bandai.

Anyway that stand you see up there is from 1/35 Guren MkII, i find it difficult to pose the Lancelot due to the weight of its backpack.

Now i am wondering should i build my Lancelot Conqusta or not. The whole kit use back the old Lancelot frame and only did a bit modification on the armor design.

Code Geass Model Kit Snap Fit

Ok i think some of you ppl out there are wondering how does the code geass model kit looks like after snap fit. Here is some picture on my current progress....

I have just snap fit them together, and curently waiting for AB, the Vincent kit is still in its box. The height of this kit are slighly bigger than HGUC kits and almost around the same height as most 1/144 SRW kits.

Color wise, Lancelot Air Calvary is a bit bad, a lot of color missing and seam lines can be seen easily....the sticker given also not complete enough to cover all unpaint parts.

Guren Type 2 is way better, like wat i mention in the earlier post. The whole kit color is very complete and glossy too! Although the seam line problem is still there but at least they did better cover up then the Lancelot. They is only one sticker given, and that is for the face.

For Code Geass fan tat dont plan to paint their kit i think u can stick with Guren Type 2 and the Vincent kit. Their color are more complete but the problem with Glossy paint work on plastic is the runner and plastic nip become very hard to cut!

Ok cheers and behold the upcoming Lancelot Conquista this month

Code Geass Model Kit Guren Type-2 and Vincent

Wanted to update all you ppl earlier, but last week was a bit messy week for me. All the stuff tat i purchase through frens and online all pop up suddenly, causing a total chaos to my room (due to dunno where to place them). Finally now i have got some time to share with you ppl wat i have got.

Last week the items tat arrive at my place are Code Geass Model Kits Guren type-02, Roro's Vincent, MG Unicorn Novel vol.4 with gatling gun, Conversion kit Zeta Gray Wolf, and Nightingale. I will start with the Code Geass Kit first.

As for all that are local Malaysian, you should know by now our faithful local Bandai distributor, did not import any of the Code Geass Model kit, making it unavailable to the local Code Geass fans, I was also disappointed with their poor marketing strategy, they should have push this items into market while the anime was so hot worldwide.

Now lets start with Kallen's Guren Type-02, the box-art is terrific but the images on the first page of the manual is more stunning! It makes me want to collect them (lol and this is unusual i usually throw all boxes away).

Stunning box art as well, Bandai getting better doing box-art!

Kallen in action.....The hand of the kit need to used darker color

The standard of this kit is similar with most HGUC kit, colors are not completely molded right but it does come with the pilot but as most Bandai kits, they are molded in one color, how i wish there did it like Kotobukiya SRW series.

The maroon red is really stunning and the PC comes in red

Small Kallen....onli if it was painted....

This Kallen's Guren Type-02 is also the first Code Geass kit that came with a stand, the stand is similar to those Gundam Seed HG kits. You can mount ur Guren with Lancelot to do a fighting scene.

This is one of the reason why this kit is more expensive than the others Code Geass kits

Now comes Vincent! You saw the anime and you will notice Vincent is just a simple kit with no extraordinary weapons, the reason for its godness is becoz of the pilot's Geass power (making him invisible if fighting in close range, i think he can even pawned Suzaku and Kallen).

Mechas of the Code Geass R2 are listed here, will they be produce into model kit?

Similar like the Lancelot kit i bought earlier, it has those "poo" looking yellowish color to replace its gold color! Unless you are going to buy the coated version or else you will have to paint the thing yourself.

Yes pooooooooo color

This kit is also the first Code Geass R2 model kit, you will see the word R2 in the box part! The box-art and the manual book art is really stunning! It is even better than Kallen, and Roro does give you some cold blooded look! Like it really much.

the cool look of Roro, really love the art of the box and manual

Same as Lancelot and Guren Type-02, it does come with a Roro small figure. But it overall it does look better than the Lancelot (maybe becoz this kit was made 2 year later than Lancelot).

Mhmmn the Red seems to have metalic effect like Armored Core Kits

And now who is gonna paint this small person again.....

Ok that all for the simple review on the code geass model kits, later will have a section on my working in progress Lancelot, currently is 30% finish, need to finish snap fit it and AB it together!
