Figma Saber Review (Finally)

Finally i have got my Figma Saber! A action figure tat should have been mine 2 months ago! Really wonder why GSC did produce more of this back then to cover the markets needs or maybe it is becoz they dun bother with customer overseas? Man Figma recently is having a lot of issue to meet the orders overseas...........

Lets start to have so clear view on Figma Saber and why we should choose it over other action figure saber!

This are all the accessories for Figma Saber: 2 swords, 1 stand, 1 figma plastic bag, 6 extra hands, 1 additional hairstyle, and 2 different expression face type.

This time the hands are color in silver, make to represent the armor part....

What so special about this Action figure........what i could said is the expression of this Saber! It is by far the best looking action figure i owned, and its expression can already challenge those PVC Figure out there! Just loved it.

To be honest the articulation for the Figma aren't as good as the Revoltech. Some pose is really difficult to be made becoz of the limitation of the joint, the way the joint are design and input into the parts make it hart to rotate its arms and legs.....

But after the launch of Figmas we already knew that for an action figure it is not all about the articulation......it is about the overall design. Saber has achieve the part that she is loyal to the original setting and some more she is good looking.

Finger pointing on someone is not really polite

They provide the shell for the sword also, and both of them are really detail

OK after all those picture of Figma Saber, here comes the exciting part. Let compare the Revoltech Saber with Figma Saber........

ehhhhh.....just looking at this picture, I dun think i need to said anything already. A picture is worth a thousand words. But since u ppl already read all the way down here i might as well point out some of the problem.

My Saber is a 2nd Gen Revoltech, and Saber was also the first character of the revoltech 2nd gen. As you can see the sculpt of Revoltech Saber is much fatter than the figma, the expression on Saber face also not tat nice, the figure not so detail, and certain parts has poor paint job.

lol Figma pawned Revoltech big time.

Saber demands u to choose wisely!

But this is the comparison with the 2nd Gen Revoltech onli, it aint the Fraulein line! And by the way Revoltech 2nd Gen and Fraulein do have far more superb articulation than the figmas! Wat revoltech needs now is some nice franchise anime gals and some good artist + sculptor.

For this round i would said Figma won the Saber war. Wonder who will be the next character that the 2 company will matching?

More figma are required! GSC pls produce more figma, dun make it a headache for overseas collector like me! Spread the great action figures of your company to more countries!

Hey just wait till Figma Rin come out u big giant!

To conclude this round, ppl prefer more detail and pretty figure than a really articulate one that looks like crap.......

Nice comparison. I got the Revoltech Saber and I like it, but as your pictures show, the Figma one is way more pretty.

See ya!
