SRW Person-Lichkeit & GOO Hiling's Garazzo

Another SRW kit acquired... this time it is the mutant monster looking robot frm the SRW Impact (and also SRWOG series) Person-Lichkeit. Then more HG Gundam OO kit, HG Hiling's Garazzo which is just the same old Garazzo with a different color scheme (rip off frm Bandai).

Oh i also got myself the MG Sinanju Decal... took me some time to get it since most of the online store has sold off their first batch stock within 2 days of launching (this show how hot Gundam Unicorn series is).

Anyway this decal come in two sheet and with the same price tag.

Box-art for Gundam OO kits are getting better and better, they look stunning than their HGUC brother. It wont be a surprise if ppl purchase it just for the box art.

As mention before it is just the same old Garazzo that comes in a different color... so you better think before you buy it.

comparison of box-art.

Person-Lichkeit... a name tat cant be remember by most ppl due to its long and hard to pronounce name.

It is devilish and cool looking.

It has less part and its quite easy to build too... but to make it look devilish it might take a lot of effort.

No time to build them yet... still got lots of unbuild kit and need to start building on my recently acquire 30th anniversary HGUC & SD RX78 Gundam for the upcoming LYN groupbuild. Gonna take some picture of them too soon.

Perfect Grade Red Frame + Koto's Valsione & Grungust Type 3

Wanted to post this earlier but Picasa had to do some maintenance so got me delay... anyway PG Red Frame finally, my first PG. Bought the limited first batch edition that came with the transparent parts and additional weapon.

My biggest Gundam Box ever, nice printing and i guess after the amount i paid, i will have a hard time on deciding recycling it or not?

Malaysia distributor was generous this time to give out additional free gift too, an acrylic base with the Gundam Seen Astray printing on it. Its quite thick as you can see, wonder how much does it cost? Its quite thick as you can see.

Chrome sword 菊一文字 but the darker shader sword part is not really noticeable.... and same goes to the other sword.

So this is how PG hands are like... looks like the Eva arm parts and the MG RX78 leg part i got.

Gundam Seed Astray was the only seed series that i liked, the sequel and also the rest GS series does not attract me at all.

They is lots of power up for Astray Red Frame... just looking at the manual I notice lots of amazing power up and the potential Astray Red Frame can go reach to. Hope they gonno come out with additional weapon pack like the PG RX-78.

My limited transparent parts box.... and the leaflet in it. Will they be a second batch release?

On the same day i also got myself SRW Valsione and Grusgunt Type 3. Ohhhhhh need to control myself this month.... spend too much already.

Valsione is really one special robot model kit. It is like all those Gundam Gal we see online, a robot with a female head on it and comes with flesh and red hair, not to mention the artificial oppai.

Can change face expression like Figma.....

Grusgunt Type 3 another mecha piloted by Mr. Zengar, I am starting to think that Zengar is the most favorable character in SRW. Almost all the mecha he pilots gets Model Kit Treatment and Chogokin treatment first.

The sword is no match with the PG Astray blade.

Latest Haul + Info On 1/100 R-1

I have not been getting so much in 1 single day for a long long time. All my PO stuff seems to have arrive at the same time......

Because of some problem.... my Lucky Star twins was seriously delay..... so end up coming along with my Miku and Fraulein Yoko.

Today what I want to discuss is my latest SRW kit - EO-tech SRW 1/100 R-1. It been sometimes since the last SRW 1/100 kit was release, last one 1/100 Alty was like a year ago.

There is some disapointment for all those SRW 1/100 kit collector, this kit does not come with the pilot figure........ in exchange it comes with a stand.

From the menu you can see that there is no figure and LED included.

As usual Kotobukiya does a good thing in separating color parts.... trying their best to make it easy for modeller that are either lazy to paint or lazy to masked the part for AB.

This is the good thing about Koto kits, the 1/144 required you to masked the grey part but the 1/100 directly divide the parts into three different parts.

This is how the finish works look like

However some parts still required you to paint or mask.

This time is also the first time Kotobukiya kits comes with chrome parts..... this is the T-Link Punch from R-1. Wonder whether later we will see some special coated edition of Kotobukiya kits or not?

OOF photo...... and this is the only 1 i had.

Overall..... 1/100 R-1 is quite a dissapointment, unlike the 1/100 Alty which has great great improvement, including LED and figure..... this one just seems too plain. Its transformation is also incomplete and just some little enchancement in part changing area. To conclude it is just some bigger version of the 1/144..... but i guess this wont stop hardcore R-1 fan from collecting it.

Alteisen 1/100 Finish

Finally after decades of works.... i have finish my Alty (Alteisen) 1/100, took me like forever just to get it done. Did a lot of work on this kit, touch up on the armor, shading on the armor with AB, lining certain area with Enamel paint, and last is weathering it with Gundam Weathering Marker.

I really like Alteisen.... it was one of the most favourable mecha of mine in SRW OG GBA game (release decade ago and got refurbish into SRW OG on PS2). Kyosuke is really the best and coolest pilot in SRW.

So lets start with the comparison between the paint and unpaint version. The unpaint Alty is a really high completion model kit. Color are well defined, each small detail are being made into separate parts. If you dun color it, it already look damn nice

Now the comparison between paint and unpaint version

Before

After

Before

After

Paint or not paint is really all up to the modeller! To me..... i like to make thing perfect... that why most of my model kits takes like forever to be finish...

I have been ask several times about the height of this kit. A lot of ppl want to know how large it is compare to a MG. So i guess a picture is worth a thousand words, here a pic of Alty with a MG Hi Nu (one of the bigger Gundam).

I guess it is almost the same size as MG Sazabi

So it is big what are the other big deal about giant size mecha. Yup definitely something great about it! First it has a LED included without having you to go out and purchasing and mod yourself, it has really nice articulation for a kit that has so bulky armor!

the impressive 3 joint foot part, where now the latest Gundam RX78-2 Ver2.0 has also implement

Movable finger like those MG but still not as nice as Bandai MG kits

The only thing that limits most of the movement of Alty here is its oversize shoulder. It does limit a lot of the action but since it is also the trademark of the red beetle here, i guess no one will complain about it.

This time round Kotobukiya did make a lot of upgrade on its 1/100 model kit, besides having a bigger size they also include more gimmick compare to the 1/100 Huckebein Mk II.

The shoulder missiles

the revolver

Cockpit door can be open (although no mini pilot included)

LED given and already comes with how to assemble it into the kit

The Beetle horn that comes in transparent red for glowing effect along with LED

ok that ends this post... hope you guys like my Alty here! I would like to said SRW kits rocks.... Now here is pic of my 1/144 Alty along with 1/100 Alty and Kyosuke (comes along with the 1/100 kit).

lol really noobie indeed comparing my 1/144 Alty with my current 1/100 Alty..... I assemble it almost 3 years ago and now looking back at it, my skill did improve over time. I think it really takes experience to make a kit look nice! Hope all you modeller out there enjoy your hobby and pushing the limit your kits to the limit!
