Ok lets do some simple review on this 2 revoltech i got, this are 2 kits from Macross Plus and for those tat havent seen it before i strongly recomend u to watch it! Definitely a master piece of dog-fights! It is even better than Macross 7 and Macross Zero!
I personally like the VF-21 over the VF-19! Although some may said that the Battoroid mode of VF-21 looks weird but i think it is kinda of cool! and man VF-21 used the pilots mind to control the plane....definitely more high-tech. Too bad it lose the competition and VF-19 was chosen for mass production!
They come with powered up armor!
As you all know the previous Macross VF-1J wasnt really very nice due to the lack of panel lining and this time the VF-19 and 21 seems to have settle the problem. Looks detail but the waist movement is not as good as the VF-1J....especially the VF21 the backpack is too big!
All accessories of VF19
The design of VF-19 Battleroid mode is one the best in the series so far! It doesnt look really skinny and the cockpit are not blocking the articulation of the waist part! Although i like VF-19 but definitely not the Basara version! The face look really weird in Macross 7!
The weapon of the VF-19 looks really nice! Wonder if it could fit into others toys of mine or not?

This is also one of the Macross series tat emphasize on CQC (ops my bad too many MGS4)
Now for VF21! This plane battleroid mode looks like those Zentradi mecha (those female Zentradi mecha). Anyway i like the plane mode the most! Best design of all Variable Fighter and also super nice color scheme!
Now there are starting to fight! As i mention before this is also the first Macross anime tat emphasize on CQC (close-quarter combat), inside the anime you will see them dodging missile and punching each mecha!
And crossover dual punch!

Err, no offense but why did you keep calling it VF-19 or VF-21? The correct name for them are the one written on the boxes: YF-19 and YF-21 (that's not a typo).
"YF" means prototype fighters, it's different from usual "VF" (variable fighters). Nice review btw, I'd definitely get those two
