1/35 Lancelot completed

Been so so so so long since i bought this kit, and been so so so so long that i have never did anything on it! So comes today i finish it and snap some pic to share with you guys.

I remember i did show some of my snap fit Lancelot 2-3 months ago, and man this kit is really poor in design compare to all those HG Gundams or even other model that Bandai make. I really dunno why they didnt even put in much afford to make this wonderful mecha a masterpiece like what they did to VF25.

Their laziness in separating the parts make us have a really hard time in painting them, although they gave us a lot of sticker but which modeller like to used those crappy stickers? Especially on the weapon that came with it.

This time is also my fist time to use the Gaia's paints instead of Mr. Hobby's paint, i am surprise that Gaia paint which is cheaper and larger can deliver such nice Gold color, it is not only nice gold color it is also very smooth and fine (the finishing).

It is also the first time for me to paint mini man from figure..... most of the time i just ignore them.... wonder is it because in the late episode of Code Geass R2, Suzaku manage to change my feelings towards him! Him pairing up with Lelouch is really godlike!

The sword holder for the Air Calvary backpack is definetely the most lousy design...... a gentle touch could cost it to fall off..... eh damn you Bandai.

Anyway that stand you see up there is from 1/35 Guren MkII, i find it difficult to pose the Lancelot due to the weight of its backpack.

Now i am wondering should i build my Lancelot Conqusta or not. The whole kit use back the old Lancelot frame and only did a bit modification on the armor design.

it's too bad they didn't do better making it, but it looks good, you did a good job of painting and putting it together.

Hmm...to me maybe this robot design is not that interesting if compare with Gundam, but you have done a nice job on it. Not bad!
