Kotobukiya Gurren Langan

Yesterday i just bought the biggest haul of my life time........I nvr bought any giant kits before. The price and the thickness is bigger than Ex-S, Sazabi, and even those PG cant be compare with it!

I bought the Dygenguar & Aubenseiter Pfred Mode model kit along with a Kotobukiya Gurren Langann! This is the biggest Kotobukiya combination purchase i have ever made and it is also hard to believe the 2 super robot class mecha will be launch together!

I know some of you are must be really excited on the Dygenguar set but there is really a lot of thing to tidy up before i can post it here! So i will start with Gurren Langann first!

This model kit got a really cool manual book! Black in color and with some sketches of Gurren Langann! In it as usual some introduction of the anime and the pilots, the theme is also the classic gurren style!

Oh the sunglasses are included too! It comes in 2 size one is for the chest one the other is for the boomerang weapon (when he remove it from his chest).

The color of the kit is 90% accurate to the original! Just some minor paint job required, most of them are yellow and black color which usually located at the corner and some small parts.

It has been few months since I bought any new SRW kit, now they include a slip for you to order all the lost parts, it include the price of the thing rather then you have to write a letter or request the price from their office!

This time Kotobukiya include a giant piece of card that has the printing of the a giant drill. Anyone here play paper craft before? If not here a good start for you! It was really briliant of them doing so, since i would be impossible to make a giant plastic drill and as you know without giant drill it aint called gurren langann!

This time i am really surprise by Koto! We all know that Kotobukiya dun come with any decal, so it would really be a big problem for us fans that want to have the classic Gurren logo on the mecha! Kotobukiya directly make the logo into a separate pieces of plastic allowing you to AB and do some simple painting to it!

yeah gurren langann logo make easy for noob style! Nice go Koto, i like ur style! (no wonder their kits so expensive they separate almost every color part making a big increase in the amount of plastic)! So now doing this logo wont be hard!

I am starting to be more and more confident with those Kotobukiya kits, no matter in SRW series, Armored Core Series or even now the Gurren Langann! So far havent bought any Armored Core kits before but they do look good! May consider venture into it!
