PS3 Devil May Cry 4

Just got my copy of DMC4! It came with a special DVD. The version i holding is the Asian version and it is totally in english including the manual so there is not much point getting a US version here in US since u can paid less and enjoy the same thing!

The special DVD tat came with the game was just some interview and some trailer from the past few E3......nothing special at all unless you want to know the making of the game. I just leave it a side!

And when u insert the BD into your PS3 u get a 20-30 minutes wait for installing the DMC files into the PS3 HDD, and man it is like playing a PC game you need to install first! Wat have console evolve into! But on the bright side you get faster loading speed which something great for action game!

During installation u get to read some of the background of the game, starting from DMC1 - DMC3!

The intro cinematic was great! It is confirm tat you get Trish(DMC) and Lady (DMC3) in the game! But no Lucia so far........

Ok enough talk time for me to start the game!

MG Unicorn and Black Union Flag

Just went to AF-Hobby to purchase this 2 long awaited kits!


AF-Hobby just moved to a new location! Now the owner is opening up a workshop instead of a open to public Gundam Toy Shop! Those Gunpla fans can now have a place to build their kits and AB using the facilities set up by him! But of course u need to join the club first!

So back to the topic! MG Unicorn, i didnt bought it at first because as most Malaysian knew, if a kit just release into Malaysia market, you can get it at a higher price! But if u wait a month you can get it cheaper in RM10-15! And since i pre-order it with the boss earlier so i got mine for RM160(or was it 165?) which was way cheaper than a month ago with the price RM185+-.


The box is quite big! It is around the size of a MG Zeta V2.0! But slightly thinner.

As for the HG Graham's Union Flag Custom, I got it for RM31 and that was member price.

I like this kit a lot! Although there are a lots of comment on the web about the design but it is terrific for me (it is innovative design much better than GSD Zaku copy cat design)! Another reason i want this kit is it's Black in color and the pilot of it is a real ACE that can take down Gundam and has a bit of newtype power (episode 13 he show off his six sense by knowing where Setsuna is a and read his mind).

Burnout Paradise

Just got my copy of Burnout Paradise! I was always a big fan of Burnout, and of course i wont miss Burnout for anything in the next gen console(ops should be current gen console now).

Got 2 copy from Bernard from Gamers Solution, one for myself and another for my fren which i will takedown his vehicle when he gets his copy! I got the Asian Version since it is way more cheaper and also faster to get here in Malaysia, for a price of RM155 i think is quite worth!

For those that are concern about the manual and other printed stuff in chinese, dun worry this Asian region manual book and other printed stuff are near 90% in English! Besides that the design of the BD and the inner cover seems to be way more plain than any other PS3 game i owned.......Maybe this is one of the reason it is cheaper!

When you first login to the game you are required to download an update patch ver1.10 and this was fast considering this game official launch date for Asia was 22nd of Jan! By the way the size of the patch is just around 13mb.

The game has no menu and when you enter the game it will bring you through a short intro to the City and after that you get your CrashFM DJ taking you to the junkyard to claim your ride. That was fast.......

The trash car i was mentioning about! It is the same as the Demo release earlier! This time you can get new ride by wining certain races and then unlock a car that will drive around paradise city automatically! When you see that car take it down (destroy it) and the rides is yours, quite innovative.

You will get your license to crash (drive) at first, it will used your PSN avatar for the license photo but if you got a USB camera, you make take your own photo and place it up there! And when you get takedown or takedown someone, the pic will be shown to the other players! You will want to have some memorable stuff from your foe!

The City view of Paradise city, it looks kind of small here but you will definitely get lost in this city! I lost a few race due to wrong turn and wrong shortcut.

Graphic is stunning especially the effect of the crashes, it is superb!!! And wat more surprising is the online gameplay does not required you to leave the game and enter certain chat room, you just press the right arrow on your controller, it will prompt a in game menu where you can select your friends that are online and playing the game currently and join them!

This is a racing game that you shouldnt missed and a really must get game for PS3 and also Xbox360 user! Go get it now and start burning!

Max Factory 1/8 PVC Haruhi Suzumiya

Finally after such a long wait, I finally got my Haruhi! Which batch is this Haruhi i also not sure, i only knew this is one hot figure!

I think most your Haruhi fans out that has got this PVC long time ago! Even u did not have this you would probably have some PVC figure of Haruhi that is being manufacture by other company!

This figure coming with 2 accessories and a platform.

This is my first PVC figure! I hope it will be the only one (lol this stuff are expensive), but too bad i got another 2 pieces of PVC pre-order and haven't arrive yet so this is most likely not going to be my last.....

Heard that Haruhi animation is coming out in Season 2? or was it some new project!? Who knows but i think a lot of ppl will be looking forward for another Haruhi Crazy adventure!!!

Modding the Alteisen

Do you mod your kit? Modding a kit sometimes is not only about changing the appearance of the kit but can also help improve the articulation or make the paint job easier when AB!

I do mod my kit, so far haven't did any appearance mod but did have some minor mod such as adding new panel line and some modding that increase the articulation of the joint....sometimes i mod the joint to make AB the kit easier!

Here an example on how I mod the joint of the Alteisen 1/100! Below it how the original joint looks like!

As you can see it requires us to fix the black part into the white armor part which will cause you trouble when painting the kit. Just think about the trouble you need to go through for masking that part!


So I decide to saw the part that hold the black part with the armor part! In the same time I dun want the hand part to drop off easily so leave some bits of the parts there.


This is the equipment i used to saw the part!


Then I fill the armor parts hole with some epoxy putty (this putty are as hard as a rock when they hardened), after that I glue the 2 armor part together with some plastic cement.


You are required to leave glue part to hardened up before you proceed on the fitting the parts together and also for the putty to hardened up (which take 6 hours ++), so just be patient and start building on other parts.

So this is the final result!


I can know slide joint part into the armor without separating the armor part! And in the same time the joint and the armor can still hold together:
