PC upgraded with ATI HD 3870 GPU

I just upgrade my PC, it has been with me for around 5 years and recently it just failed me! sob....sob...

My pc has been showing me warning signs in the boot up screen for more than half year and i choose to ignore it! Every boot up of my comp will tell me to backup my hdd and I am required to press F1 to continue to boot into windows! Besides having the hdd problem, my CMOS battery has also expired.....

Since i was only using my comp to surf net and also watch some anime, I didn't bother to do anything! Until Monday this week, my comp refuse to boot up and give me the beep beep beep sound! Use a boot up disc to boot it up but then again within a few minutes time it will show me the "Blue Screen of Death"! Darn so i spend RM2000++ to get myself a new rig! So much for Merry Christmas!

I went over to Malaysia biggest PC center - Low Yat Plaza! Then got myself:
AMD AM2 x2 4000 (may upgrade later to the newest Phenom when price drops)
ASUS M3A / AMD770 / D2 / PCIE / SL
2gb OCZ PC800 GOLD DDR-RAM
Seagate 8M SATA 160gb HDD
SAPPHIRE HD 3870 XT 512MB DDR4 HDMI (For RM799 wow wat a get!!!)
LG DVD ROM
COOLER MASTER ATX cassing along with 450watt PSU

After not playing any new 3D games on my PC for more than 2 years! I now started to play Gears of War, Crysis and lots of high requirement on my PC again!

Yeah thx to this 3D card!

SRW 1/144 R-1

After 3 months of building this kit i have finally finish it!

It took me so long becoz of the ridiculous amount of color on this kit, and also the ridiculous amount of work i have been doing this 3 months (working on Saturday and Sunday + OT until 1030pm every night).

I am not really satisfy with this kit myself, but nevertheless i have use so much time on it so I might as well work on!

Most of the SRW kits weapons are very detail even in the size of 1/144! Maybe it is becoz Kotobukiya is also doing the Armored Core kits which all have very detail weapon design!

Comparison between HG Strike Noir weapon and R-1 weapon

Besides having more details on the 1/144 SRW kits, the size of this kits are bigger than 1/144 Gundam kits!

Dunno why i think that the R-1 looks more cool than the Stike! Here some dual gunner pose! Kind of reminds me of Revy from Black Lagoon!

This kits is my second kit in shading and also the first kit in using enamel paint to do the lining!

After doing this R-1 i think i will not buy those SRX team mecha anymore, they are really too colourful for my liking!

1/100 Alteisen Gotcha!

Yup i finally got the 1/100 Alteisen! After waiting for more than 3 months since the first declaration of Alteisen 1/100! I finally got it!

This time Alteisen is back with bigger size, better articulation, more detail, LED for the Eye & Horn and a fully colored figure of Kyosuke!

Now i can have Kyosuke and Bullet standing side by side! Wonder when will Excellence's Weibritter get 1/100 treatment! I would really want to get a full collection of ATX team in 1/100!

It is really generous for Kotobukiya to include the LED in this kit, and the manual book has covered how to place the LED into the kits head! We can only get the samething from Bandai if we buy a 1/60 PG gundam!

Since I am a super big fan of SRW and especially the Alteisen fan so i will drop all my current building kit and start building Alteisen 1/100 first!

Revoltech Danboard

As i mention earlier in the Revoltech Yotsuba post, Danboard was going to be release soon! And yes Danboard has just been release in December! Those who havent got their better got snatch one back and place it next to your Yotsuba!

I was walking around in Berjaya Times Square this afternoon to get my Danboard and manage to meet X Divider Gundam in Time Machine selling a lower price compare to previous visit so i grab it along!

This time the box of the Revoltech used a carton like design, and has cute drawings and has the cover part having the same design as the Danboard faces!

Within the box we have a head of the character and a stand board for the Danboard! Thats all...... but the figure head is very big!

OK now come the fun part! The Danboard follows the original design of the manga! So u get to have an ON/OFF button on the side of the head, beside having the same design it also has the same function! By switching it ON, eyes of the Danboard will......

This Revoltech is really very cute, it has very few Revoltech Joints but it definitely is one of the cutest out there!

Oh and you wouldn't get any 'pantsu' shot from this figure.....

PSP Slim

Hi there recently i just got my PSP Slim! Wanted to choose the Piano Black one but the console shop ran out of stock and i ended up getting myself a Felicia Blue version!

One of the reason I want to get a PSP was because of its powerful multimedia function, games on PSP are on the second! I also got an AV cable for playing movie on my TV, and you must also get one if you own a PSP, the video out image is quite good and is comparable to some VCD quality!

Although the Sony official firmware 3.72 was already available but I got myself the CFW 3.71 M33-3 running on mine PSP slim. And i ran into some problem when remote play my PS3! Seems like the PS3 firmware 2.00 and above required the PSP to update itself to the latest firmware!

Watching Minamike on PSP Slim

Ok now i am experimenting how to used my PC as a media server and stream the video to my PS3 then from the PS3 to PSP using the remote play function on PSP! I will post a guide on how to do so later!

PS3 Sixaxis Dual Shock 3 Controller

Ok finally got my hand on the Dual Shock 3 controller, nothing special about the look just similar to the original sixaxis controller, the only difference is the weight! It is much more heavier and kinds of feel like the old PS2 controller!

Look the same as the sixaxis controller

Only difference is an additional Dual Shock 3 word printed on the controller

Now you can set the rumble function by pressing the PS3 button and selecting the Controller Setting

I tried it out with Ratchet & Clank (R&C) and Heavenly Sword (HS). R&C was the first PS3 game that has the rumble feature in it so no software update were required to feel the effect, and I did feel some rumbling on the controller.

However for the HS, sadly there is still no software update yet currently so we have to still play the game rumbleless......

One comment I would like to give is, Sony is damn stingy selling you a controller which cost so much but they cant even afford to give you an additional USB cable for charging your controller! WTF! How much could a USB cable cost you SONY!

MG Destiny Extreme Blast Mode

I have just got mine own MG Destiny Extreme Blast Mode (EBM) yesterday. The box isn't that big for the price it has!

I believe a lot of ppl out there has already got the kit or at least seen what are the stuff included in the EBM package........

The runner of this kit now follows the way of the Turn A which is having the alphabet of the runner carve into the runner instead of the traditional one! So you ppl who has a AB may use those alphabet to do some effect on ur kit!

About the silver coated part, it is like the Strike Freedom, not all inner frame are coated only the joints are coated, but those inner frame that are not coated are so well done and the color are so matching it gives a bit of metallic effect.

The wings of light, Bandai used a new technology on this part. The wings may change color due to the lighting effect. There are also all those additional see through plastic looking parts that serve as weapon effect included in this package!

Overall i would said that this kit is more worth the price than the crazily overprice Strike Freedom Full Burst Mode!

Macross F

This is kinda sudden! But I posted it here as soon as possible to let all those Macross Fan out there to know! The new sequel after Macross Zero is arriving! Macross F!

Now there is a new fighter plane, VF-25! Latest technology to fight with alien bugs!

From the trailer seems like we gonna get more triangle love story, alien bugs and lots of missile! Three main character has been announce Ranka Lee, Alto Saotome (pilot trainee), and Sheryl Nome! Is it gonna be a 2 female 1 male love story like macross traditional? But one things is for sure there is gonna be a lot of singing!

The anime is plan for airing next year! I just wonder what will happen if this anime clash with Gundam OO? This is a must watch for all anime lovers!

Sarawak Kuching

Recently really busy! Cant even find the time to update my blog! I went to Sarawak's Kuching (for those that dunno where it is, it is on the Borneo Island) on a business trip.

Kuching is a city in Sarawak, and the mascot of the city itself is kucing (Cat in Malay Laguage) which sound similar to Kuching! After living most of my life in West Malaysia I find it really relax and enjoyable there! It let u feel like your in natural again, they are so many trees around, ppl here seems so joyful and relax, and it has so many types of races living together peacefully.

I been there for 3 days, didn't really have the time to walk around, been traveling and eating non-stop so hardly get to visit all those great places like Niah Caves and othes, but the scenery on road are just so beautiful.....the food there are also very nice......

If u want to come and visit Sarawak, you must be the type of ppl that like nature a lot and especially tropical rain forest lover!

Did not had time to take much picture, here are some pic i took during the trip and yah not much to see beside having large river and green green trees along it!

Thinking of living there in Sarawak, but heard from some of my friends there that it is really really hard to get gundam kits and modeling accessories there! Ahh wat a big draw back, but i think u can still get your stuff through the internet!
