So far i nvr tried any MAC OS before, i have been messing with Windos for almost all my life! I also played with some Linux OS before but really never touch any MAC stuff! Maybe it is becoz it is consider quite rare for ppl using MAC OS to do normal surfing or typing document here in Malaysia!
This lappie is surely the slimmest and lightest right now! How thick is it i did not measure but you can see for yourself! Weight around 1kg! It is power by Intel Core 2 Duo 1.6ghz and other bla bla bla stuff! The bag that came with this lappie was also really small, it gave me the feeling of those A4 paper size file!
what shock me most when i open up and used it is! This lappie has no DVD room and onli come with one USB socket! This is holyshit! 1 USB socket and so many other stuff need to plug in........oh it also comes with a Bluetooth! So if you better go for a Bluetooth Mouse if you wanna safe up the USB socket for other usage! You can still go buy some USB extension to increase the amount of USB port!
There are also some features i find it good that other dun provide! The purple white light glowing from the keyboard which auto adjust by the Ambient Light Sensor next to the iSight Camera!
The middle one is the camera while the 2 small hole next to it is the light sensor
The keyboard light effect
The keyboard light effect
So about DVD rom on this lappie! Since it does not come with one it allow user to share other PC DVD rom which are on the same network, so you can read all your stuff from ppl DVD rom into your MacBook Air! What a good way to solve the problem too but if your home network does not has WIFI then you will had to purchase a Ethernet to USB cable to plug in ur MacBook Air since it does not come with a Ethernet port (and there goes another USB port).
The accessories that were included in the box was Micro DVI to DVI, Micro DVI to VGA, a AC adapter (wow man MacBook used magnet to connect its plug with the Lappie), 2 MAC OS X disc and a cloth to wipe you precious MacBook!
I have notice few problem with this MacBook Air that i find it not done well enough (tat is beside the USB port and DVD rom issue). First the LCD screen of this lappie can flip too high, it is somehow limit to 120 degree and if you leave it on a lower table or your leg you wont get a good view on your screen!
Second, due to the enormous size battery built in this lappie, it generates a lot of heat at the place where you place your palm, making it really uncomfortable! And that is what i noticed so far! May do some update if i find some more!
Now i am trying to install the Internet Explorer into the MAC OS X which is so difficult! Curse you M$ for making ur thing so difficult to install into other OS! Why i want to do so.......damn becoz some stupid website or code can onli run under IE!

ya, Macbook air's lack of ports and internal device is really a pain.. but the designer's idea was to get everything done using wireless.. (not very practical huh?)
anyway.. the slim size is amazing! great piece work of art! (and tech) :D
I would rather go for performance than design...Alienware is my target!
